Mental Fasting

Fasting is defined as an intentionally denying the flesh in order to gain a response from the spirit; according to hubspot.net.


Fasting from it's original origin can mean many other things in society today! Most people think. But the most common definition that most people would think is that it is a religious activity that happens in the beginning or in the middle of the year. And some may think that it is when you stop eating or drinking for a certain amount of time.


But what I want to ask you today is, have you ever fasted? Or have you ever fasted for your MENTAL? Which one applies to you?!


Your MIND creates it's own blockade or wall for certain reasons. In order to know why it's there we have to reflect on ourselves due to tragic events that we have dealt with or is still dealing with.


Do you remember when I told you from the beginning that this was a journey? Well it will be a surprise to tell you that fasting is apart of your journey. Fasting is a way of navigation, it is a seek! It is a "coming to Jesus" kind of moment. It is leaving everything you used to know to find a new answer!
